Strategy
Investment in non-listed infrastructure companies and infrastructure funds in OECD countries. Focus on Core/Core+ and Value-Add strategies with the aim of generating regular distributions from the operating business. Targeted diversification of the portfolio in terms of country, region, location, sector, technology, age of facilities and cash flow profile.
Management commentary
In November 2025, Privado further expanded its stake in the Spanish toll road operator Itínere. Together with other funds managed by Swiss Life Asset Managers, the overall stake was increased by around 12.5 percentage points to a total of 37.5%. This will give Swiss Life Asset Managers joint control of the company. Itínere remains the largest investment in the fund portfolio and posted a very positive development, based on the 2025 half-year results. Both sales and EBITDA exceeded expectations. This performance is mainly due to heavy passenger car and truck traffic as well as efficient cost management. A further increase in two existing participations is planned by the end of the year.
