Strategy
The fund uses a systematic, factor-based investment process to invest in equities of listed European companies with a high dividend yield.
Management commentary
In May, the fund (institutional share class in EUR) outperformed its benchmark by 48 bps. This was mostly driven by stock-specific returns and industry bets. Overweights in various bank stocks as well as the bank industry in total contributed the most. On the negative side, we find the underweights in Deutsche Post and various stocks within the automobile industry that rebounded during the month.
