Strategy
Die SICAV ist eine Geldmarkt-SICAV in Euro, mit dem Ziel, eine höhere Rendite als jene des kapitalisierten Ester zu erzielen. Die SICAV investiert in fest- oder variabel verzinsliche Emissionen. Ihre Auswahl basiert auf einer Analyse des Kreditrisikos, der Liquidität und der Diversifikation des Portfolios. Die gewichtete durchschnittliche Restlaufzeit (WAM) der Titel liegt bei unter 6 Monaten.
Management commentary
Der April war geprägt vom fortwährenden Konflikt zwischen den USA, Israel und Iran. Die Weltwirtschaft bleibt durch die Blockade der Strasse von Hormus stark beeinträchtigt. Mangels konkreter Wirtschaftsdaten und unklarer Absehbarkeit der Dauer des Konflikts beschloss die EZB jedoch, ihre Leitzinsen Ende April unverändert zu lassen. Allerdings stellte sie eine geldpolitische Straffung in Aussicht, sollte sich der Inflationsdruck nachhaltig einstellen. Der 1-Jahres-ESTER-Swap legte um 5 BP auf 2,47% zu, der 3-Monats-Euribor um 12 BP auf 2,20%.
